Discover exciting family destinations

Ah yes… the classic destinations list. Maybe not the most exciting page on the blog – but definitely one of the most useful.

I’ve visited 51 countries across 6 continents, and almost 30 of them together with my kids. What started as a love for travel turned into a passion for exploring the world as a family. From road trips in Europe to faraway adventures in Asia and beyond, every destination has shaped the way we travel today.

Traveling with children doesn’t mean slowing down (at all!). It just means traveling differently. I always look for destinations that combine nature, culture and adventure. Some places surprised us in the best possible way, others challenged us, but each journey added something valuable to our story.

Below, you’ll find all the destinations currently featured on the blog. These are countries we’ve all personally explored, written about and gathered practical tips for – from itineraries, activities and accommodations to honest reflections on what works (or what doesn’t) when traveling with kids.

You’ll also notice a few “coming soon” destinations. These are trips we’ve already taken or are currently working on behind the scenes. New travel guides and detailed blog posts will be added soon, so feel free to check back regularly if you’re looking for inspiration for your next family adventure. Also don’t hesitate to send me a message if you have any particular questions. I’m always happy to help.

This overview keeps growing as we continue to explore new places and revisit old favorites.

South America

I’ve also travelled extensively in South America when I was in my twenties. I won’t be writing any blog posts on the topic as my information is outdated. But reach out if you want to ask anything about these destinations: Peru, Bolivia, Northern Argentina, Northern Chile.
