We are an adventurous family of four who loves to travel off the beaten path. Together, we have visited more than 25 countries. From tropical beaches to bustling cities, from well-known spots to hidden gems: we demonstrate that traveling with children is possible for every traveler. From October 2023 to April 2024, we embarked on a half-world trip. Our travels combine adventure, culture, and nature.

About Me
My name is Joke. Since I was little, I have wanted to discover, push boundaries, and feel alive. I love small and big adventures. My first long-distance trip was to beautiful Peru with a multi-day hike to Machu Picchu. As a young twenty-something, I lived in Bolivia for three months and traveled solo around South America. I have now visited 49 countries. Fortunately, I have no shortage of plans.
The more exotic the destination, the longer in advance I plan the route. I make a list of ‘must’ and ‘can’ do’s, but I decide on the spot how we fill our days. I always leave with the idea, “I’m only coming here once, so I need to make the most of it.”
Besides my full-time job, I am a passionate adventurer. I also love telling stories, and in this way, I help other families map out their dream trips.
